Wheel Tire Automotive parking light Vehicle Car

I've been building up the Recon in my mind as a rugged, smaller competitor to the Hummer EV and Rivian R1S.

I currently own a Model S Plaid and a JLRU with Sky roof. My dream is that the Recon is the evil love spawn of both my vehicles.

I want a 600+hp, low center of gravity, 300mile range do everything SUV for fun stop light pulls and moderate off road use.

What do you guys hope it is?

I have a hummer on reservation and I'm either getting that or this. I get the feeling my GMC dealer will screw me over on ADM (in which case I'm dropping that order). I really don't like to drive gigantic vehicles, so I like that the Recon will be a bit smaller. I do like that roomy interior and gigantic center console space on the hummer though. It's more pick-up like instead of wrangler-like. I love my wrangler, but it does feel a bit cramped inside.

I'd love close to 400 mile range as possible. 300 is ok, but I make a trip that is about 150 each way round trip and I've love to be able to make that comfortably without a recharge stop. It looks like the hummer SUV is just short of 300 in actual driving conditions. That right there could be the decision maker for me.

I have the SOT on my 392, but I do like the idea of the glass roof on the hummer. I'll have to think about that feature a bit more, but I think I like the idea of the glass roof panels a little bit more currently.

400 is probably going to be really optimistic. My model S would be lucky to get 320. A Rivian will get 275 or so. I think low to mid 300's is probably what we'll see. Though who knows? maybe they do a long range one that would work for you?

I want a smooth-riding, IFS, EV with at least 300 miles of range. It's going to be a family/travel/beach cruiser for me. It's not my first pick for a fun EV, but the power top is a huge plus. I'd much rather have a smaller EV that resembles a Wrangler/Bronco, if possible.
